The USS Battle Born crew elected to have custom communications badges made, based on our chapter’s heraldry.

Designed by Russell Camp, the badge design contains:

• A gold spade – signifying gambling and the original home state of the Battle Born – Nevada.
• The spade is inside a silver delta – our Star Trek and STARFLEET core.
• The laurel wreath is instead a wreath of sage – the Nevada State Flower.
• The Orbit/exterior ellipse is silver – Nevada being the Silver state.

Each badge is made of steel, and comes with two strong magnets to mount it with – no holes in your uniform!
