It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend, SGT Marjie Chauvaux, who departed for her final duty station in November 2021. She was a STARFLEET Marine, and founding member of the 301st, and later, the USS Battle Born. She was the first ‘First Sergeant’ for the 301st – paving the way for NCO’s of our unit and chapter to come. She was a key part of the personalities that forged and flavored the 301st and USS Battle Born.
She loved her family, animals, Star Trek, fantasy, costuming, reading, and more. Her family had a small memorial for her in Nevada.
We will remember you for your kindness, your humor, and your sincerity in all things.
Rest well Sergeant, your watch is over.
